Black Pepper Beef

Utterly delicious - this is fast food as it should be. Fresh and tasty this can be rustled up in a flash and is better than any take away.

Ingredients

1 large sirloin steak (sliced quite thinly)
1 large onion (sliced)
3 cloves of garlic (crushed or grated on a microplane)
1 red or green capsicum (pepper)
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoon freshly milled black pepper
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon Maggie seasoning sauce
1/2 red chilli (seeds removed and sliced finely)
3-4 tablespoons oil

Method

Marinate the beef in 2 tablespoons soy sauce.

Heat the oil in a wok and add the oil.

When the oil is hot, add the onion and garlic and quickly stir fry until aromatic.

Add the capsicum (pepper), freshly milled black pepper and beef.

After a minute or two, add the soy sauce, Maggie sauce, sugar and stir fry until the onions are caramelised (do not overcook the steak).

Serve with steamed rice.
