Sweet slow cooked ribs


Serves 2/3


900g pork ribs
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp Cider vinegar
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 dash Tabasco


Put the ribs in an oven dish and put into the oven at 200, gas mark 6 for 30 minutes. While it browns, mix together all the other ingredients in a bowl.

Once browned, coat each rib thickly with the mixture and place it in the slow cooker. Next pour the remaining mixture evenly over the ribs. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve with rice.
